The Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center (BTFCC) in Janakpur, Nepal Opens Head & Neck Onco-surgery Department, Welcomes Dr. Rubina Suwal

 

April 1, 2022, Janakpurdham, Nepal – The Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center (BTFCC) is pleased to welcome Dr. Rubina Suwal, who will perform head and neck cancer surgery at the center’s new head and neck oncology department in Janakpurdham, Nepal.

The Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center (BTFCC) is pleased to welcome Dr. Rubina Suwal, who will perform head and neck cancer surgery at the cancer center’s new head and neck oncology department in Janakpurdham, Nepal.

Dr. Suwal completed a 2-year oral oncology fellowship, recognized by the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, from Shanku’s Medicity Hospital in Gujarat, India.

Dr. Binay Shah, President of the Binaytara Foundation said, “We’re very excited to welcome Dr. Suwal and expand our cancer surgery services to help more patients. The BTFCC is the only cancer hospital in the Madhesh state of Nepal. Head and neck cancer patients in Nepal can receive these complex cancer treatment and surgeries at the Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center in Janakpur, Nepal.

Our goal at the Binaytara Foundation Cancer Center is always to assist people who need cancer treatment and are unable to travel longer distances. Head and neck cancers are also on the rise in Nepal, and there is increasing need for this type of surgery locally.” Dr. Shah added.

The new head and neck oncology department will serve cancer patients from Madhesh, Nepal, as well as neighboring states in Nepal and India. The BTFCC now offers Medical Oncology, Head and Neck Oncology, General Surgery, Intensive Care, Laboratory, Histopathology, Radiology, and Pharmacy services. The BTFCC serves more than 6 million people in Nepal’s Province 2, and millions more in neighboring states and India.
