Staff Nurse 

Responsibilities
Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit
Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests (taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary)
Counsels patients by transmitting physician’s orders and answering patient’s questions
Schedules procedures
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications
Serves and protects the ophthalmology practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements
Enhances BTFCC reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Nursing or Staff nurse with  a minimum of two-year experience in hospital setting.

Must have a valid registered nurse license in Nepal

Medical Receptionist

Responsibilities
Answering phone calls
Scheduling appointments (on BTFconnect)
Scanning documents and uploading them
Taking phone messages/returning patient phone calls

Securing patient information and maintaining patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records
Keeping patient information confidential

Qualifications
Completed high school or Intermediate degree

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Office

Preference given to someone who is able to speak the following languages: Maithili, English, Nepali, Hindi

Medical Laboratory Technician

Job description
Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly
Maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols
Serves as technical resource by participating in staff training; answering questions of other professionals; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Radiology Technician

Job description
Undertake Radiographic and Imaging examinations as required
Maintain a high standard of Radiography
Take part in on-call service as required
Take part in routine daily inspection of equipment and quality assurance procedures
Keep up-to-date with current techniques and developments in Radiographic and imaging procedures and to take part in in-service training as required
Take responsibility for the general cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the department, with specific responsibility for their own work area

Qualifications
Diploma in Radiography/BSC Radiography

Lead Developer

Job Description

  1. Carry out the development of projects for the foundation that make use of modern web technologies for solving some of healthcare challenges. One of the major projects will be basic Electronic Health Record system. But new project ideas are in the pipeline.
  2. Maintain, support and upgrade/update current projects.
  3. Maintain, back-up, update/upgrade and secure Binaytara Foundation (BTF) websites (WordPress)
  4. Work in improving BTF‘s technology integrations by working with external web services for various use cases (eg. automation, reporting, notification etc.)
  5. Research and advise on use of appropriate technology when needed to achieve certain tasks for the foundation or the cancer center
  6. Handle all aspects of technology needs for the foundation (including, but not limited to, domain names, SSL, web hosting, cloud storage, network attached storage, operating systems, database, server related issues)
  7. Keep up-to-date with current web technologies, learn new skills and stay on the front for being able to think forward and come up with new ideas for achieving foundation’s goals (related to use of technology)
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have good knowledge and experience in the following:
  • NodeJS
  • HTML/Javascript/CSS web application development
  • Knowledge of one or more Javascript frameworks
  • PHP, MySQL – WordPress experience will be useful
  • Basic Linux commands
  • Database (SQL and/or NoSQL)
